Payment methods:
Payment will be accepted by credit or debit card such as Visa, Delta, MasterCard or Switch. UK maintained school orders will be accepted over the site with a thirty day invoice accompanying the goods. Orders will also be accepted over the site from non school customers with payment to follow via post or phone.
Delivery times/costs:
- Stock items are usually despatched within 24 hours of receipt of order using second class post. Delivery will be within a further 3-4 days.
- Non-stock items will usually be delivered within 7-10 working days.
- Pre-paid software and Ink Cartridge orders to within the UK, are delivered free of charge using second class post.
- For hardware orders, a carriage charge of £9.50 applies.
- Post and packing on all other UK orders is charged at 3% of order value, minimum £2.95, maximum £9.50 plus VAT.
- Orders outside the UK - postage will be charged by weight/volume. Customers will be contacted with costs.
Pricing:
R-E-M may change the price ("the Price") for the Goods from time to time in the event of changes in direct or indirect costs to R-E-M. These changes will be notified to the Buyer either at the time of order or afterwards but before dispatch of the Goods.
If the Buyer has paid for the Goods in full at the time of placing their order, the Price then agreed will be held to by R-E-M. If the Price change occurs after the order has been placed the Buyer will be notified and will have the right to either accept the new price or cancel their order.
Returns:
Software not supplied through our approval scheme is sold on a firm sale basis. However if you find that a product is really not suitable, provided you have telephoned for a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and the software and packaging is in perfect condition, we will exchange it for an alternative, subject to a 10% handling charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.

You should be aware however, that if requested by an official body investigating suspected illegal activity, we are entitled to provide Personal Information.
Unless otherwise instructed, R-E-M will send you news of offers and promotions from time to time of our new special offers and discount promotions. We will cease to send you this information as soon as you request us to stop. This guarantee protects you from unwanted junk/spam mail.
When you order products through R-E-M, you may be required to complete one or more booking forms. These supply us with relevant information such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail details, credit card numbers and so on. This data is necessary for our computer to process your request.
At all stages of your online transaction, your credit details are protected by the most sophisticated encryption methods.
Your data is encrypted or scrambled as soon as it leaves your PC. This security protects it and escorts it until it arrives safely at our server. Your data is then unscrambled and authenticated by our SSL (Security Socket Layer) server. The rigour of our SSL has been certified by GeoTrust.
In order to provide increased functionality to our site we use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as storing items in your Shopping Basket. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Even without a cookie, you can still use most of the features in our store, including placing items in your Shopping Basket and purchasing them.
