Immersed in an easy-to-use but suitably challenging maze-world, children revise English by answering WordMania questions on Spelling, Punctuation, Grammar and Comprehension to win points, clear maze obstacles and to outwit rivals. Five multi-level Literacy puzzles (see screen images) are also provided in this popular language pack.
Shortlisted by BETT Awards judges for its ‘novel take on the use of technology, using an attractive games approach similar to games played at home’, WordMania motivates individual and group learning. In ‘multi-player’ mode (optional), they play against each other, perhaps dropping ‘question bombs’ to hinder classmates progress! High Score tables are continuously updated, work is tracked and worksheets can be printed at pre-set difficulty levels. Wordmania:
