Thank you for visiting R-E-M, the acknowledged market leader in educational software. R-E-M has been supplying educational services to schools, colleges, LEAs, parents and students for over 48 years, and is committed to providing the very best service and support to all our customers.
R-E-M originally supplied schools with colour slides and filmstrips before expanding into the software market. R-E-M were one of the first companies to supply BBC and Sinclair Spectrum tapes to the original Computers for Schools schemes in 1984. R-E-M was also the first company to catalogue educational software products from a range of publishers.
Following a move from London in 1983 R-E-M is now based in Somerset - an ideal location for a direct mail business. The company has a well-trained and motivated team.
In 2008 R-E-M acquired Zings Music to expand our range of resources which now includes software, special needs, musical and classroom resources under a variety of brands.
In 2011 R-E-M acquired exclusive rights to all of the Logotron software titles. David Bennett, Joint Director of R-E-M says “We are delighted to have secured the future of the Logotron range, as we feel they are still very good teaching tools and have a good future within education. With R-E-M acquiring the range, it ensures there is no disruption to the supply of resources into schools, as R-E-M previously distributed all of Logotron’s titles on behalf of Logotron Ltd.”
